In fact, the ultrasonic mold is more likely to crack and is mainly caused by the following two major aspects:
First of all, the first point: the design of the ultrasonic mold is not reasonable enough. When the fine frequency trimming is not done, the optimal frequency is not reached. Therefore, the ultrasonic energy is not completely released during the use process, so most of it stays in the ultrasonic mold. Therefore, if the mold is used for a long time, there may be a weld that is not strong, the mold is heated, and then there is some crack in the mold. If you want to solve this problem, you need to select some professional ultrasonic welding machine manufacturers to make it.
Ultrasonic mold, because this experience can certainly occupy more than half of the success and failure, and then the master is not made according to the design when making the production, there are many times to trim the frequency so that the mold to achieve an optimal state.
The second point is: the ultrasonic mold is usually used in the selection of ultrasonic molds. The three most common materials are steel, magnesium alloy and titanium alloy. There is a big difference between magnesium and aluminum alloy. Usually, when you make it, you will choose an imported 7075 aluminum alloy, which is wear-resistant, relatively corrosion-resistant, and has good mechanical properties. The hardness needs to be higher than other aluminum alloys. It is one of the most ultrasonic molds. Good material selection is relatively high in price and is usually used on the structural parts of the aircraft. Then there is a small density of 6061, and it also has a good corrosion resistance. It has a good comprehensive mechanical properties and cuttability at room temperature. However, steel molds and titanium alloy molds are more likely to make some simple molds.
The above mentioned points are some of the reasons for the cracks in the ultrasonic mold. If you need to know more about the ultrasonic mold, please feel free to check the related articles below.
